Color me Couture! Color, every shade and hue, was prominent on Alexis Mabille’s runway. He worked monochromatic looks (complete with matching face paint!) in bold shades from magenta to baby blue. I loved how the thumbnails looked on style.com’s Mabille landing page (left), but close up, only a few dresses were all that eye-catching.
Oh Haute Couture! With Awards Season in full swing, the haute couture collections seem to arrive with a little more glimmer than its Fall counterpart. Here, some favorite pieces from the shows.

Luxurious, now, classic, inspired, artistic and entirely original, these are sure bets, but not safe bets. These are just a few of my favorite looks.
