Best Dressed: Academy Awards Favorites
What a fantastic evening for fashion! Waist cinching, back detailed and jewel-adorned looks abounded at the Oscars last night. Here, my absolute favorites. Agree? Tell me in the comments below. Margot Robbie, left, stunned the carpet with new hair, a bold lip, and a stunning Saint Laurent that is as classic as it is modern. Her best look of the year. By far. Stunning.
Elegant, eye-catching yet bohemian at heart, Julie Delpy looked young, comfortable, and spectacular in her batwing Jenny Packham. Fantastic body, that lady has! So glad she showed it off.
I got random texts from random single dude friends of my hubby’s telling me how hot Kate Hudson looked in her Versace gown. I mean. SO hot.
Kate whipped out another spectacular look, rivaling her earlier for an after party. This Zuhair Murad is stunning on her. So freaking ridiculously stunning.
Always appreciative of Kerry Washington for her great taste in designers and avant garde picks, I feel like she’s never looked more beautiful than in this ashy lavender Jason Wu gown. The color on her skin is phenomenal, almost forcing her to glow! The dramatic rusted red lip and dark red Butter London nails were the perfect accessories.
Satin can go so wrong, especially at awards shows! But it is safe in the hands of Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen. The dress reads luxury and simplicity and art all at once on a glowing Sandra Bullock.
There’s nothing Lupita N’yongo can’t wear. She can pull anything off. ANYTHING! But somehow, this Prada perfection was so beyond perfect for her moment in the spotlight.
Cate Blanchett so beautifully encapsulated my favorite high-necked cap=sleeve dress of the night. It’s beautiful to see Armani Prive back on the carpet in such a perfect way.
