Shopper’s Paradise: Hip’tique in Santa Monica

When you shop soooooooo much, you can get kinda picky about the stores you go to. Ask any stylist or wardrober who is busily running around (on a budget! on a deadline! with a billion particular and specific client requests in mind!), and they’ll tell you that they prefer a boutique setting where the sales peeps know their inventory and can get you what you need, fast. That is just one of many reasons Santa Monica’s latest boutique, Hip’tique, is on my Favorites list.

Owner and buyer Christine Berardi stocks up on Black Halo, Habitual, DVF, Amanda Uprichard, Dannijo, and loads of fantastic gifts and homewares. But no visit would be complete without a swipe of their well-stocked shelves of H. Gillerman Organics therapy wands that seem to instantly tame any stress or anxiety, jaw-clenching or gasping for breath. Main St. in Santa Monica has needed Christine’s touch, and I’m so glad she’s here to grace us with her great taste.
